Finally got our new fancy Epson scanner setup (well, actually Sean set it up) so I was able to post higher quality pics!

On my weekly Tuesday morning run with Rhonda through the Crestview neighborhood, we have heard and seen some woodpeckers. We’ve actually nicknamed the street, “Woodpecker Corner”. I like the Red Bellied Woodpecker, although it doesn’t actually have a red belly which is confusing. However, the black and white checkered feathers reminded me of 80’s checkered Vans, which reminded me of ska and that reggae feeling skank music. I was going to name this bird, Richard, but Rhonda came up with Reggie which is definitely a cool reggae ska kind of name.
