I’ve been wanting to draw a bird for Alisa for a long time. On a trip to visit her mom in Santa Fe, she came across this super cool bird from the Corvid Family. I really didn’t know anything about Magpies, but I love them now. Their blue and black colors are really similar to Grackles (although Grackles are from the Black Bird family). We decided to name this bad boy, Ragnar. He’s got a lot of grit like a viking!
